I have a Coleman Rechrgeable Quickpump 5999-400 and the charging instructions lack the time you should charge it for after having used it a number of times and will the indicator on the charging unit tell you it is at full charge? It stays at a constant green when plugging it in but the instructions lack a lot of information as to how long to charge it, other than the initial charge before using it. If it stays on green can it be over charged? I have charged it after every use but don't know when it is at full charge. The indicator light, as I have said, stays on green forever. Thanks for any info you can provide and just a suggestion on your instructions for use...please provide all the info needed to know when the unit is fully charged or give info on how long to charge after each use on a normal useage. Most other chargers will indicate when fully charged or offer optimum charge time after each use,. Thanks.

Does the red light turn green when the retro Coleman 5312 is fully charged?

Read page 3 of the manual.
The red light is on when charging, it does not change colour but goes off when not charging. It will take up to 18 hours to charge for 9 hours of use on low.
12V Lead acid battery should be kept charged all the time, even when in storage.

Is my old Coleman QuickPump 5999-200C compatable with new Quickbeds?

If the new bed has a built in pump, you won't need the old pump. If not then you can use your pump on the new bed. It all depends on the model you choose to replace your old one.

I bought this about a year ago and used it once. Took it out today and it did not work after I charged it all day today. Not sure why or how to fix the problem.

Air pump stops blowing air after a few seconds.

Check for good spring tension on the battery connections and make sure the switch isn't coming apart. I had the same problem with 2 different pumps and they both had both issues.
