THAT FLASHING RED LIGHT IS PROBABLY THE RECIEVER FOR YOUR REMOTE CONTROL & EITHER IT'S SIGNALING PROPER OPERATION, OR YOUR BATTERIES AT FIREPLACE RECIEVER ARE LOW, & SOON THE REMOTE WILL NOT OPERATE IT AT ALL. CHECK THE BATTERIES!

How many lights are blinking??

Two blinking red light's on the power button means that your console has insufficient ventilation. The red light will continue flashing until the console cools down.

Let your console cool

1. Turn off your console.
2. Let your console cool for one hour.
3. Turn your console back on.

If the solution worked, your power button should be green.

If your power supply cords are not plugged in securely, you may see one flashing red light when you turn on your Xbox 360 console.

if :
Red paper and red ink light flash alternately and green power light is off possible problem: Paper may be blocking movement of the print head. Turn off the printer, then open the cover and remove any jammed paper or other foreign objects. Turn the printer back on again. If the lights are still on, that means the printer is having a hardware issue if: Green power light is off; red paper and ink lights flash (quickly) possible problem: The printer may have an internal error. Turn off the printer, wait a few seconds, and turn it on again. If the lights are still flashing , that means the printer is having a hardware issue

Probably a failed main power supply. There are at least two supplies; one that keeps the remote function alive continuously and the second that is turned on when the set is ordered to operate. The smaller supply is a low voltage circuit and that is providing your error indication.

The lamp has run out of its operating hours which is normally 3000 hrs. Replace the lamp and you will be alright.

According to the E44W48LCD service manual, the temperature indicator red light states the projection TV shut down due to overheating. Red (flashing) states the projection TV shut down, check the cooling fan.
