If you simply reboot is should start normally. If it does not complete the boot process it will bring you to the safe mode boot options after a restart. If this is the case you have other problems post back.

Is it compatible? 32 or 64bit? Download the program to a folder and modify the compatibility, if you haven't already. It states it's compatible with Win 8. http://expat-shield.en.lo4d.com/ Here's a compatibility procedure : http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/6832-compatibility-mode-use-windows-8-a.html

Hi. I purchased a Mr. Christmas ornament that can display 50 digital photo's. I can't seem to find the program on my computer to begin the process. The ornament is plugged in UBS connected. How do i...

You need to reset the photo frame with a toothpick in the small hole and then reboot your computer in safe mode. From safe mode run in windows compatability mode as windows XP. I have just had exactly the same problem. DPFmate will not run in 32 bit or 64 bit.

I have a virus and need to fix. 1. How do I

reboot the computer and tap the F8 every second or two to get to safe mode (click here for details).
Not sure what virus you have, but I just had to remove "Security Tools" from a pc. I booted into Safe mode and ran MalwareBytes.
If you don't have virus protection download and install Windows Defender and Avast - both are free.

Can't get computer out of safe mode

From Windows Safe Mode click Start / Shutdown and restart the computer. This should start the computer automatically back into Normal Mode.
Note: Many users believe that they are still in Safe Mode because the colors or video may not look correct. Unless in the corners of the screen it says "Safe Mode", you are not in Safe Mode.
If you are rebooting the computer and it is rebooting back into Safe Mode (it does say "Safe Mode" in each of the corners), it is likely another problem exists with Windows preventing it from loading into Normal Windows.

If this does not work try: http://www.computerhope.com/basic.htm

Emachine w3107 reboots when windows xp loads

These kinds of issues are most often related to driver conflicts. First thing you need to do is reboot your PC while holding F8, until you receive the menu about booting in to Safe Mode. Try booting in to Safe Mode.

If you can get in to Safe Mode, disable any new devices you have recently installed, reboot again, this time letting it try to boot all the way to Windows.

If it reboots again, go back in to Safe Mode and disable/uninstall something else.

Basically, it is a process of elimination. Safe Mode loads a very minimal set of system drivers, so if you can boot in to Safe Mode but not in to full Windows, the problem is one (or more...) of the drivers that load in Windows but don't load in Safe Mode.

Computer crashed, won't go to windows

Hi,

When you start you computer, after the bios flash. press the F8 on your keyboard before the Windows start loading. You should have an option to select to go to safe mode.

Select the safe mode option only. See if it will load the Windows under the safe mode option. If it did load the Windows under safe mode. There is an issue loading the driver of your Windows O.S. that i why its not booting under the Normal mode. Sometimes this is cause also by a Virus on your computer. You can run the Anti-Virus program under Safe mode to check for viruses

To fix this you may need the Original Disc of Windows O.S.
You can reboot the computer. Load the disc make sure that under the Bios option the CD drive is the first boot. Then save it.
after rebooting. Follow the on screen instruction on how to repair the O.S. There should be an option to repair the O.S. when you boot the computer using the Windows O.S. Disc

Note:
If you could do a backup of your files, do it first before repairing the O.S.

If it will not resolve the issue, you will have to reformat your computer.

My computer is rebooting over an over ....dont have time to do anything....now i open my computer on safe ....mode what should i do??? i have window xp

If your computer fully loads Windows, than starts a restard process you are looking at having an annoying virus. Since there are several different viruses that can cause this problem, if this is the reason for the restarting, you would be best off loading Windows in safe mode (using the F8 key before Windows starts to load will give you a menu with options like SAFE MODE) and than trying to scan it for viruses.

If your computer doesn't actually load Windows, but restarts after the Windows loading screen, you could have a corrupt driver causing Windows to restart. If your computer were slow, you would see the error message, faster computers go through the error screen too fast. The best way to determine this would be to start in SAFE MODE and see if the same problem exists.

Let me know what happens after you start in SAFE MODE. 6 Pts Rate Answer
