The most common problem shall be that your system might not meet the minimum requirements that the game needs...If you are sure that the requirements are met then you shall try to get another fresh copy of it as this may be corrupted.....If the minimum requirements are not met you can emulate the graphics that is needed for the game using 3D analyser....

Have you checked the Game to see if it requires and SPECIAL Sound or Video cards in order to function? Also make SURE the game says it's VISTA Capable AND that you have enough RAM (Random Access Memory). If all of that is met, I'd check with the Game Manufacturer for a Solution or Patch-Update.
