Hi. 7 beeps is fault code for a faulty speed potentiometer. Might also be a broken wire on the pot or a faulty connector. Most times, a new pot will fix the problem.
Good luck. Neil.

Why does it beep five times when key is turned on and controls won't work

hi, the 5 bleeps are related to the brake,,, located at the rear of the scooter located on the side of the motor, attached to that is the free wheel lever,, in drive mode ,, check that the microswitch is working correctly, check the wire( connectors etc ) from the brake to the controller ,

Pride elite traveler keeps cutting out 9 beeps

it could be the connection between the rear section and the front half. take back section off and see if connection has melted as I have repaired lots with this fault.

Beeps 7 or 8 times and stalls. turn key off and back on and it runs

hi, 7 bleeps is the throttle pot , most likely it is worn, or miscalculated...depending on model , the newer one's use a self contained unit so no calibration is required however will fail when the voltage gets too low,,, , I suggest you check the connections to the controller as they can be a source of problems...from the throttle to the controller....

Has 6 beep

6 Bleeps on a Go-Go indicates you have a speed or throttle pot error.

Constant beeping but scooter will move

okay there sounds like there either water somewhere or condensation ?

place the whole scooter in a warm room next to a radiator, not too close but close enough so it gets the warmth leave it like this to dry out, this has worked for me, water causing a short either under the tiller panel or where the controller is situated.
