Please let me know how to update the drivers for belkin 7 port F5U307 in windows 7 64 bit? It is recognised as a ''generic driver''. Seems to function Ok, but when I try to backup data through external usb drive via belkin hub, my laptop suddenly and unexpectedly reboots! Most troubling. When I disconnect the belkin and go direct to laptop's usb port, no issues. Help please.
Download the drivers direct from the manufacturers web site jnot through windows
next right click on the belkin unit >click on the properties >click on the tab for compatibility > click in the small box then highlight you operating system> apply and ok

This could be a lot of things, but I would wager it is the result of network traffic congestion, if this is truly being used for a WiFi network... First thing to troubleshoot this would be to take the WiFI out of the mix and just use a hardwired solution to see if it still hangs.. if so, then the problem may be drivers for your system, and you may need to upgrade them..
May even be software.. might try seeing if any newer versions of your player are available.
