How do i remove write protection from my pendrive

Try to format in other operating system like windows vista or in windows 7 because in vista and 7 you can force format your pendrive

Should be a switch on the pendrive. Just push it in opposite side. That will disable the write protection.

write protection on transcend 16gb pen drive

there is a small slide switch turn this off and see, if not then the pendrive is probably corrupted

Look for a small/tiny white switch on either the bottom or side of your pendrive and switch to the other side. there should be a tiny white switch on your pendrive...
