I have a refurbished 32 in Samsung TV that is about 5 years old. About a year or so ago, when I turned the set on the picture image would display in only a light gray fuzzy quality. Almost like a 'negative' image. If I tapped the set on the side a few times it would come into normal quality. Recently the TV image has deteriorated and I am unable to use the tapping to bring the image into normal color quality mode. Any ideas what the problem might be and is it worth fixing versus replacing the set with a new one?
Thanks! Bob
It sounds like the T-CON board problem, you can try reseating the connector first, the board is mounted under the metal shield which sometime can be difficult to get to.
