Zoom keeps losing it's internet connection and I have to keep re-booting in order to restore. It always happens over night and frequently during the day. The Ethernet connection to another computer is a nightmare too, always losing its connection even though the modem shows a connection.

SOURCE: I have a Zoom X6 ADSL modem that keeps dropping my

is it wireless connection or ethernet? Zoom routers have a firewall and when you have something connected that the firewall doesnt like (Xbox 360 or Gaming) it will drop the connection. goto zoom.com/x6 and it will give you instruction on how to by-pass the firewall using an different IP address.

SOURCE: Not recognized by cable modem

Turn everything off for 2 minutes, cable modem, router and pc.

Turn on modem and wait 2 minutes for the modem to sync to TW.
Turn on router after 2 mins and wait until the router syncs with the modem.
Turn on PC
It sounds like your router lost its connection to the cable modem, which happens from time to time. TW will not help with your router. I worked for a cable co and the router and modem losing sync was the at least 70% of the calls. FYI cable doesn't use DSL,just the phone co.

Why is my toshiba Satellite P-850 clock loosing time

It *might* be
- that the "CMOS battery" (normally a coin cell about 13mm in diameter) is dead, in which case you should replace it.
- The crystal which stabilizes the RTC has drifted.
- If this problem has always occurred it may be the that the RTC chip is defective, but this is highly unlikely, and even less likely to have developed a fault with time.
- if you connect to the internet frequently (several times per day) the above can be ruled out (I think).

See for example (just one of thousands) http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/3-reasons-windows-computer-loses-time-date/

How to fix whoops a daisy in farmville 2

WHOOPS-A-DAISY! ERRORS

Fri Jan 10 09:17:48 EST 2014heart_icon.jpg 34 Likes
Howdy Farmers! Below are the most frequently asked questions regarding the "Whoops-a-Daisy" errors, and useful information to understand them better.

What are these errors? "Whoops-a-Daisy" errors occur when your Game and FarmVille 2 server disagree about the current state of a Farm. The disagreement is basically a disconnection between the Game and its server communication; this prevents any progress until the two are in agreement again.

What causes these errors?
"Whoops-a-Daisy" errors are typically caused by:
  • Internet service errors
  • Weak internet connection (Dial-up or slow internet connection)
  • Taking too many actions at the same time on the Game
  • Two game windows opened on the same or different browsers
  • Using your phone (if dial-up connection)
When are these errors triggered?
Whenever you take any action in the game, a transaction is created to save that action on the server. If that transaction is not processed by the server, then it creates a disagreement and the "Whoops-a-Daisy" is triggered to prevent you from losing any more progress.

What happens during these errors?
FarmVille 2 will always save all the actions that happened before the error is triggered, meaning that when you reload your Farm some progress might be lost, yet you will be able to re-do all the actions.

Will I lose Bucks/Coins our Items during these errors?
You shouldn't lose any of the above during a "Whoops-a-Daisy", as explained before the game will revert back all actions taken prior to the "Whoops-a-Daisy" showing on your Game.

For instance, let's say you bought a Baby Ibex for 22 Farm Bucks, if the action is lost because of a "Whoops-a-Daisy" error, then when you log back you will not have the Baby Ibex in your Inventory, but your Farm Bucks will be returned.

Computers connected wirelessly lose internet connectivity

That can be a sign that the router is going out. Try updating the firmware and see if this helps. Sometimes it is on your providers end but they will always tell you to replace the router first.
You will also have to check your cabling as that will be one of the things they suggest you do.
I would go to Walmart and get another cheap Linksys router and setup it up and if it still does it call your provider. You can always take it back and get a refund or save it for when your router does go out.

Screen doubled, now cannot log in, cannot stop iphone

It may be too late, but if you try double tapping with three fingers then dragging up or down, this might change the zoom of your screen, showing the rest of the screen for you. Then go to Settings>General>Accesibility>Zoom and turn it Off, if it's not already. Also, restoring your iPhone will keep all your media, Contacts, Documents, Calendar etc, but you will lose your preferences and settings and probably your network information also. Hope this helps...

My modem keeps losing internet connection

Update your drivers and then do a speed test. Most isp send updates to the subscribers when they update, yours may not. Don't forget to check all of your connections before wasting time calling your isp. I trust this test the most. Rember you don't always get what you pay for.

Connection keeps cutting off

Hi, I have also faced the same problem many times....
Try to restart the router and see for the connection light to turn green.... then connect to internet..

This happens due to heavy load. When thre are many users your router will restart automatically.

If this still continues ask your tech guy to change the line.
