Hey Karen, Water in the bottom of the dishwasher results from clogs in the filter or in the drain hose. Before you do any work on your dishwasher, make sure that it's switched off at the mains. If cleaning your filter hasn't resolved the issue, then the next thing that could be preventing your dishwasher from draining is a blocked drain hose. Is your dishwasher displaying an error code? If you see the E25 error code on a Bosch dishwasher, that means the filter is blocked or clogged, and water cannot drain out of the machine correctly. You can check all Bosch dishwasher codes here: https://www.justfixed.co.uk/bosch-dishwasher-error-codes/
poss main pump(sometimes called motor) is jammed or fillter in same area blocked dis assemble sump area(under bottom filter) from inside machine and look for foreighn bodies i.e bone etc.....i hope this helps kev
Check you dont have a small inline filter inside the inlet water pipe. Either at the "tap" end or can be on the machine itself. They look like a small sieve. Remove it and clean with a toothbrush. Then put back.
Sounds like your waste water drains could be backing up and pushing water back into the dishwasher. Firstly try pouring Mr Muscle sink and plughole un-blocker down the sink and leave overnight next morning pour boiling water down the sink and your pipes should be squeaky clean. Hopefully this will improve the flow and prevent gurgling!
The water backup is due to the low drain hose mounting position. Check the sink disposal position; the drain hose connection from the dishwasher to the disposal must be placed higher than the present drain hose passing the sink cabinet from your dishwasher.
make certain that there is water coming into the d/w if so and you are sure that the solenoid on the water valve energizes then its possible that the strainer on the water valve might be clogged if so its going to take a bit of work to remove and clean the strainer and reasemble it are you confident .
is all the water draining from the tub? if not the pressure switch will not reset and it will continue to try and clear it self...check drainage system.
2. pressure switch is jammed on..build up in the sensing chamber..common..or switch faulty...rarely
3. if water is in the bottom panel most have a flood switch which automatically operates the pump in case its over filling
