SOURCE: Thermastat on LG Split system

The star with a face is sleep mode, each time you press it you will see a 1 then 2 then 3 up to 7 appear in the lower right corner of the screen. This means that the unit will operate for 1 or 2 or 3 hours then switch off. The house with key if pressed will give you the actual room temperature assuming the remote control is in the same room. It will return to setpoint temperature in a couple of seconds. The triangle with face is termed "Chaos mode" The unit will stay on a preset temperature probably 18c but the airflow will vary and the louver will go up and down irratically or randomly, as it tries to immitate a natural breeze. The fan only button will put the unit into fan mode (no compressor driven cooling), the fan icon with circle around is for fan speed which goes up each time it is pressed. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: lg split indoor fan runs non stop

Hello Hamid,
The unit is designed to run the indoor fanmotors continuously when in cooling mode on both indoor units (evaporators). The reason is that this circulates the air and the temperature thermistor or sensor is able to sense return air temperature and in turn start or stop the outdoor unit and compressor as required according to the setpoint temperature. The reason for either unit not reaching setpoint temperature can be a couple of reasons. A) Incorrect design - the unit may be too small for the application. You can calculate this roughly at 650BTU per square meter of room in a relatively warm ambient climate. Or secondly B) The outdoor unit has leaked and is short of refrigerant. You can check this when the outdoor unit is running by feeling the thicker copper tube on the right hand side of the unit. This should be cool to cold. If no temperature difference is felt, it is short of refrigerant. Hope this helps you. Goodbye

SOURCE: WATER LEAKING FROM MY SPLIT TYPE LG AIRCON

1. Do not set the aircon too low temperature in overcast weather, this will cause ice ups and water dripping. Optimal comfort zone temperature is 24c.
2. You need to open the grill cover on the front of the aircon which unclips either end left and right with a finger pressure. You will find two filters which can slide out and should be cleaned. First tap them together to remove dust, then you can wash them with mild soap and cold water.
3. There is the third possibility that an insect has made a nest in the drainpipe. You should look on the outside of the building and locate a plastic drainpipe. You can either blow into this pipe with your mouth or get a blower. This will unblock any restriction in the drainpipe.
Goodluck and ratemeplease.

What is meaning of deffirent modes in remote

The sun symbol is heating, an icicle is cooling, the fan symbol means fan only. A triangle means auto mode, the machine will heat or cool to get the temperature you have selected. Looking at your remote, it is set on 16 degrees cooling. The large fan symbol will mean its on high fan speed.

Does not produce Heat

Sounds to me like it is defrosting the outdoor unit. Is this possible? The process takes a little bit to complete but it will then start up again.

What is the button to heat up my room?

Open the cover on the remote, to the top left (usually) there is a single button which if pressed repeatedly, changes the mode settings. This can also be seen by changing icons on the display. The first is an ice crystal, second tear drop, third a triangle with a moon, fourth is a sun. Press until you have the sun icon in the display area. Then close the remote and using the up arrow and down arrow buttons select the temperature which is comfortable for you.

Cant feel heat using remote 6711A10010D

You need to ensure that the LCD displays a sun symbol. If this is not the case this can be corrected by using the button which has triangle, snowflake, sun and raindrop symbol, press until sun is on screen. Then set temperature.

Cant make it blow out hot air.

You do not mention the model. Most aircon remotes have a mode button which has three or four icons. On cooling there will be a ice crystal icon on the lcd display. Pressing the mode button (sometimes behind a cover on the remote) this icon will change. You want to set it to the "sun" shaped icon

Mitsubishi A/c remote control has no instruction manual

That is the mode setting.

The triangle is "I feel" mode. You adjust up or down according to how you feel

The star is "cool mode"

The wind or fan shape is for the "fan on/off" mode

And the rain drop is the "dry" mode to lower the humidity in the house.
