My player is fully charged but wherever i press, nothing turns up the screen is blank

Charge the Walkman fully. To charge the battery of the Walkman fully keep it plugged in to the Computer for 4 hours.

Reset the Walkman by pressing the RESET button that is located at the bottom.

You can use any sharp pointed object to press the reset button.

If the issue persists then Walkman may require service.

First back up all of your music and do this: Turn off the player and make sure it is disconnected from the computer. Then press and hold the play/pause button and turn it on simultaneously. It will then enter recovery mode. Scroll down and select format (all) and let it format and it should work like normal. If it freezes again, then you may need a firmware update.

Press the power and the Play (>||) button together for 20 seconds to reset the unit

Make sure the player is fully charged.

• 1. Connect the player to your computer.
• 2. Make sure the computer detects the player.

NOTE: If needed, switch the player to MSC mode,

• 1. Turn device OFF.
• 2. Slide the Hold switch down to Lock (orange color showing).
• 3. Press and hold the center button while connecting the device to the PC.then connect it to the PC.

Next Be sure the battery is charged

• 1. Leave the player connected for approximately 2 hours to charge.
• 2. Disconnect the player from the PC.
• 3. Verify if you can turn on the player.
• 4. Reset the player if necessary.

To reset the player:

• 1. Press and hold the Power/Menu button for approximately 20 seconds.
• 2. Release the Power/Menu button.
• 3. Press the Power/Menu button again to turn on the player.

If that does not do it, re-seat the battery: Then try and see if it will come on with out the battery but hooked to your computer.

all you have to do is reset it..there is a small button on the bottom of the mp3 and you have to press it with somthing small and sharp..im pretty sure that will do it!

did anyone ever get back to you on this? I'm having the same problems.

Have you tried the reset hole? make sure there is nothing stuck in there that could be pressing on the button. When you press and hold the reset button the screen stays blank.

If you press the reset button does the unit turn on? Mine turns on when I press the reset button even after I turn the battery off then back on.

Press the on/off button down until the green light goes off. Than turn it back on again.

This might work:
Switch off.
Take your SIM card out.
Make sure your phone battery is fully charged.
Press * 3 send at the same time and turn the phone on. Keep them pressed until the reset screen appears.
Give it time to reset.
Yes! I know, you need someone to press the ON button.

you must go to settings and change the backlight options and change it to always on.. then it wont go on and off randomly
