I suggest turn it to lower temperature, so that water won't drip down. You can get rid of the hardness by keeping those things out of the unit for about half an hour before using, so that it may lose some coldness and become soft.

Fisher & Paykel RX256DT761 Fridge keeps shutting off every 6 hours.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from MISC to one of the Fisher Paykel categories

If it is at roughly 6 hour intervals, it sounds like an issue with the auto-defrost heater system. Probably a short to the case. Look for chaffed wiring or better to replace.

Temprature blinking

Control board has gone bad....

What happens is the defrost is controlled electronically from a circuit board, when this goes bad, the freezer quits defrosting, and freezes the fans that circulate air through the fridge side of things.

To check this, unplug the entire fridge, leave the freezer open, wait for it to defrost a bit, if this causes the fridge to start cooling again when you plug it back in, then its the defrost. You should also see ice crystals on the back of the freezer just under the icemaker.

Freezer is coated with frost What do I do about it?

Hello,
If Frost is there in the fridge, either you can press the defrost button ( normaly red color button with temprature control nob) or you may turn if off for some time.
Thanks

Temprature settings keep changing by itself. Mostly changes on fridge side..freezer temp stays steady for most part. today....all vegetables froze in fridge...lettuce wad hard as rock....please...

Either the temprature control is malfunctioning or the cold air duct dampers stuck up due to forsting. Switch off the refrigerator for 3 hours and restart.

Fridge Leak

We fixed the leak by putting a pipe cleaner down the hole inside the fridge, at the back. This cleared the tube as it had gunk and grime blocking it. Now the water can run freely down the tube and into the drip tray which is at the back of the fridge above the motor.

Ambet temprature inside fridge when set on 1C

I can't help but wonder if the light is staying on... :)

It certainly sounds like a door seal, but did they replace the thermostat, or is that what you mean when you say sensor?
