Ask them direct what the weight is based on the model that closest matches yours. By the looks of it, 2 people could lift it with straps underneath.

We would strongly advise against washing or attempting to dismantle your DC20's wand. Not only can this cause damage as it's not designed to be taken apart, but the water can actually increase any odour coming from the wand as it may not be possible to dry it effectively. Attempting any maintenance not shown in the User guide could also void any guarantee remaining on your machine.

I'm happy to provide some further advice on how to dismantle your machine for transit. If possible, can you double-check the model number? DC26 is not a Dyson Ball model, and the directions would be different if you own another type of Dyson vacuum.
