Hi there ... We have 4 lines in the office but on one of our M2000 series Meridian phones only the first 2 line buttons receive a dial tone ... How do add lines 3 and 4 to the next 2 buttons?

The last number redial key is a "filler" key added by the telephone system when the line 3 key was erased. You'll need to add an appearence of line 3 to make it stop ringing on the intercom key.

We have M7310 phones, that used to have 3 lines working, now when you dial the line 3 #, you can only answer it from the intercom button. The line 3 buttin now seems to be programmed for last # redial.

Meridian M3820 - why is display not working

Try another 4 wire phone cord from the wall jack to the phone it is possible that you have a bad cord. These phones will only work with a Meridian System .2 wires are line ,the other 2 wires are power to the phone. If you have another phone try plugging it into the same wall jack to check the jack/line itself. Anything else would be a defective phone/ lcd ( note you can have dial tone without display, but the unit will only access one line.

M7310 Non-Stop Dial Tone

Intercom button/s provide dial tone when they are pressed. They are required to call other phones on your system.
Sounds like your button is stuck or issue with the motherboard.

No dial tone

It sounds like you have the wires hooked up wrong. Check both ends of the wire.

Buttons won't work

Try taking a credit card or ID card and placing it on its side across the top of the keys. Then swipe it down across the keys. This should unstick any of the keys that may be stuck and your phone should start working fine.
