My craftmans 46 in cut (22 hp) tractor goes backward after I changed drive belt

They all have Model Numbers. Engine HP and Cut Width isn't it.

check drive belt and tension pulleys under machine if belt is stretched or damaged replace if popped off pulley check all to make sure one has not froze causing it to pop off also check rear pulley on axle sometimes pops off and just spins

YOU WILL NEED TO DROP THE STACK PULEY DOWN AND MAKE SURE THE PARK BREAK IS SET THAT MAKES THE BELT LOOSE

Recheck your installation. It sounds like you perhaps got the belt on the wrong side of one or more belt guides. If you need an owners manual, post your full model and serial number and I will see if I can locate one for you

there is a sticker on the deck that shows the routing for the belt - on a 46" deck, it's probably on the rear, center - or it could be on the underside of the left running board

go to sears.com and put in model# for parts look up and they will have it or call 1-800-4my home to get owner manual
