Disable auto-sync in Windows Media Player to solve the problem.
Disable Auto-Sync in Windows Media Player 11 – go to Microsoft's website for pictorial demonstration Major Symptom: The Mp3 player is adding (or deleting) songs that I don’t want onto the player Major Solution: Open Windows Media Player WITH the mp3 player connected Move the mouse cursor over to the Sync tab Click on the tiny black arrow underneath the word “Sync” to bring down a drop-down menu Select Set Up Sync (this option will not appear if your mp3 player is not connected to the computer) Uncheck box that says "automatically sync files to device" Click OK to finish Voila! You are now set up for manual sync instead of auto-sync. -Tha Mp3 Doctor
