Chek out for a rest small hole on the rear/side, using a small pin hold it down for about 5 seconds. try to switch on.. itmust work.. if not try to conect to the computer and using your antivirus scan the memory, delete off any virus present. Hope this works.
hi guys had the same problem / tranfering a film last night it suddnley stopped being reconised by my comp / also my battrey was full ,unplugged it and would not power up / plugged in charger still no joy / devistated/
i checked this forum tried the hole on it which only said mic didnt reset it..... so set to work on it half an hour ago & and fantastic result back up and running........... here is what i did having some experince with elecs as i have dj for many years i know you can sometimes bypass a circuit ... take your player and pressing on the back gentley as you don,t want to break the screen firmly push the back like a mobile phone to the top of the player this realeases the back cover using a flat object or jewlers screw driver ease out the battery / this is no easy job as it has being stuck down . make sure not to snap to board were the battery clips on , ease the battrey plug of plug the charger in without the battrey fitted / this for me was enough to bypass the problem the player switched its self on ..unplug charger and carfully connect the battrey , its alittle tricky plugging it back in as the connection port is tiny , carfull or it may snap patience is the key , once battreys back inplace refit cover slidding down you have bypassed the circut by now so the battrey may show flat , recharge and enjoy .. hope this helps.... mine is working fine now .. good luck .. please let me know with a post reply how you get on ... good luck tom...
