My 62 inch dlp tv came on and was working then with out any noise or notice the picture went to black and a steady red light came on under the word "lamp". We looked at the bulb and it does not look burned out as it has when we replaced it before. What do you think?

My Toshiba 62HM95 62 in. HDTV DLP TV won't turn on...the green and red lights under the power button remain on and the red light flashes. How do I fix this?

Most likely, you need to replace your DLP bulb. The one that comes with your TV will last a few years max. The replacements seem to only last about a year. D:

No picture, siren type noise as restarting

My Toshiba dlp 62hm116 was used for 3 months then stored for 2 years, I turned it on yesterday and it makes a loud grinding noise which I think is probably from the exhaust fan area and the picture is black except white at both vertical sides. It worked fine the last time I used it 2 years ago. Any ideas?

Humming Noise at the back of my Toshiba 62 dlp lamp is working but no picture

You probably should have the TV looked at by a technician. if your lamp is lighting up then most likely the noise is the color wheel itself.

Toshiba 62; DLP 720P- Alot more red and green

You have probably have installed the wrong lamp or you installed a third party/off brand Lamp. If that is the case anything other than a Factory replacement Lamp will have a different color temprature. Install a Lamp that is listed from the manufacture.

Mitsubishi 65" DLP HDTV, Status light is red, no picture

Check your lamp; it may have blown. Sound, no picture and a red light are classis signs a lamp has failed.

Television Problem

I have just run into the same thing, prior to the picture not coming on there was a loud whining noise, I thought it was the fan in the back, but, what I tried was removing the lower back panel, LIGHTLY tapping the light wheel assembly just left of the Bulb housing, and using a shop vac to first, **** the assembly around the edges and then reversing the air and Blowing it out. After much dust and dirt flying around the TV came on. It now only makes a little noise now and then, but, I will try this again today and then put the back panel back on. Since it would probably cost as much as a new TV for the color wheel, I gave this a try. For now, it is working.
