Try this. Go to your keyboard and hit CTRL, ALT, DELETE, that will bring up the main log in page. Then simply enter your password and clik "YES". Your computer may want to reboot, allow it to do so and then try your keyboard again.

Things to consider... how old is it?
Have you updated software on your computer lately, something major like windows, not the small stuff.
Also, found cell phones and other electronic things in close proximity will do a trick on them too.
Clear the area and try again

The batteries keep going flat in my HP remote keyboard. The original batteries lasted about 12 months .When a notice appeared on the screen saying the battery was low i replaced them now they only last 2...

Hi,
you might want to try quality batteries. When you replace the batteries let the keyboard set with no batteries for e.g. 5 minutes so that it "registers" that the batteries have been replaced. Maby disable the onscreen message and just use the keyboard untill it stops working :-)

Fcp logic wireless keyboard A1016 stopped working

Sounds like the keyboard is bad because its eating batteries up to quickly. I would probably try a good quality battery like Duracell or Energizer. If you were already using those then don't buy any. If you haven't tried those batteries then try those and see if the same thing happens, if it does then you know the keyboard would have to be replaced.

My gut feeling is when you saw the swollen battery inside of your keyboard then that was the begininng of the keyboard going bad.

Asus CS5111 keyboard stopped working

Try taking the batteries out of the mouse and let the receiver find the keyboard first, then once the keyboard is found put batteries back in mouse and let the receiver find the mouse.

Mx3000 stopped working, read forums, reset receiver now dashes only when pressing any key. rebooted computer ... now keyboard not responding agian

I got a used MX3200, got the mouse working right off, but no keyboard. This solved my problem: with the wireless mouse working took out the keyboard batteries, pressed connect button on the receiver, replaced the keyboard batteries, pressed connect button on the keyboard. Voila!

Dell Wireless Keyboard stopped responding, please help.

The keyboard should have a button underneath it. Press the button on the usb controller first and then the button on the keyboard. Repeat a few times to see if it connects. If you are still having trouble try another set of batteries as some batteries are not designed for wireless products.

Keyboard not responding

Solution. My wireles keyboard stopped working except for the F-Lock key, the Media key and the sleep key. It wasn't batteries, even though I tried, communication was there because the above keys were working. Remove the batteries from your keyboard and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Press the red connect button a few times and other various keys every few minutes during that time. This may be the whole "capacitor discharge" trick, but I tired that with someone elses instructions and my keyboard did not work after 2 minutes of key pressing. I think it just needed more time to clear out the secure settings. Good luck, I was about to trash this keyboard until I tried again
