I have a Pyramid PB70 audio amp that I am mating to a factory stereo in a 1997 Nissan pickup. When I installed it (according to diagram) , and powered it up , I got a clicking , popping noise from the speakers , then blew a fuse . I checked over the wiring detail , which was per diagram , and measured the ground wire from the amp , and it was showing about 5 volts whenever the stereo was on , whether or not the bypass button was pressed on the amp. Is this a "floating ground" issue , and do I need an adapter to mate this booster to my stock radio ? Thanks , Clint

Red - should be fused & is the +12Vdc system supply voltage.
Chassis = System ground.
Individual Green, Grey, & cooresponding blacks will be the right & left chan Audio ins (Black = neg).
Paired bl/blwh, br/brwh, grey/grwh, & green/grwh will be the audio outs.

Generally, the fuse only blows when the rectifiers fail. In other Pyramid supplies, they use a square, 4 terminal bridge rectifier. They probably use the same thing in your supply.
