Picture comes on for a couple seconds, then goes blank
When I first turn the tv on, it may work for a few seconds, but it goes blank and has no sound shortly thereafter, sometimes immediately. Other times the sound continues without the picture. Power still goes to the monitor, as the blue light at the bottom is still bright, but it appears that the display function fails. I can't describe it any better than that.

timer/standby indicator blinks for about 30 seconds then goes to the
self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check video
out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the C board, also check
Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK
blanking, try turning up screen slightly.
If this is a flat panel LCD tv, this is a sure sign that the panel itself is bad. I have seen this before. Tv comes on works fine then within 5 minutes goes blank.

Sounds like the CRTs are going into protective blanking due to the vertical output ic needing to be resolderd. Try resoldering the vertical IC that may possibly fix the issue.
