Compressor RLA is 26 amps system calling for high speed. 40 amp contactor energized from board. Board is flahing twices to indicate call for high speed. Ambient Temp. is 94 deg. Refrig. 410a Liqiud presuure 375 psi. Suction pressure 165. Have sweat back on suc. line. AMP draw on compressor is 7.8 . Seems to be stuck in low speed. Disconnect Y-2 from board and. 40 amp contactor drops out and 30 amp contact energizes and amps remain the same 7.8. Is something wrong internally with the compressor???
According to the reading sound like compressor is working fine .There are other issue that contribute to no cooling and the main one is dirty filters so check your filter to see if it's dirty and clean or replaced it .
If filter is fine then you might have dirty evaporator or condenser coil so clean those out too .
Does this unit have 2 compressor and if it does is the 2 compressor running

If the refrigerant has been accurately charged and diagnosed, I would look for an air restriction. Check your filter first of all. It sounds like it may still be trying to freeze up. Make sure all the vents are at least a little open and the return grill is not blocked. In the Rocky mountain region we like to see around 44- 50 deg. at the vents. 65 would tell us that everything is not ok.

what's the problem? With a 79 return humidity is prolly very high. Are you shutting this off at night or letting it maintain comfort levels?

Hi!!! Does your ac unit work fine?If not check your low voltage problem..You have a low voltage problem check the wire going out to your condensor make sure that they are not touching..Good luck..Check low voltage wires..short in progress..

Hello RR Hard start can't hurt BUT dosen't sound like the problem.Do you have a scroll compressor? They don't need a kit.Does it start every time?It could be short cycling on LOW PRESSURE SWITCH.If the unit is (pumping down) during the run time you have a restriction in the system.Make sure the service valves are open ,do you have a filter dryer colgging up or a bad TXV valve also could cause short run times.20-30 PSI the switch cuts out.

Assuming your inside blower is coming on,
1. If you have a volt meter, check across the contactor coil (24volt) to see if you have 24 volts
* If not, and you have a low pressure switch, most of them on a carrier have two wires going to the pressure switch. The pressure switch will be mounted right on the large copper line known as the suction line. The best way to check the pressure switch is to bypass it or wire around it You can cut the two wires in half and just wire them together bypassing the switch all together.
2. If the unit low pressure switch is tripped it is because it is low on refrigerant. Some units will go off and on spiratically if the unit is partially low on refrigerant. This is a good indication of what is going on.
3. One of the biggest and easiest problems is batteries in the thermostat. Some thermostats must have batteries to operate . Be sure to check this simple solution before anything else.
**Be sure if you work on the outdoor unit to disconnect power first. Hope this helps
