Pressure washer worked fine and suddenly no

Check for an inline filter on the water hose connection, the low pressure side. Depending on your water quality and if any spiders made homes inside your hose, they can get clogged pretty easily.

I have a john deere 3000psi pressure washer with similar problem. Running fine then a puff of smoke and it shut down. I checked the oil and found it full of water. Not only that but since I still had the water turned on, the water was flowing out of the dip stick tube. I'm trying to find a solution online and will pass any information on.

Same old problem... water admitance valve sticking.

Remove the valve spool and clean the bore with crocus cloth on a dowel rod.

Replace O rings and lube lightly with plumber's grease. Reassemble... good as new!

The valve senses pressure and blocks further input water. It sticks in the high pressure position blocking water flow.

there is a small ball bearing inside the nozzle on the end of the lance , this can get jammed or missaligned and the nozzle orifice can get blocked , clean this or replace the whole lance with another 200 Bar lance .

The valve that limits the water inflow when output pressure is up is stuck open.

Probably needs new O-Rings.

check the o-ring in the pressure relief valve.

The nozzle is dirty!!!! It's always the nozzle. Clean out with a small diameter thru the nozzle.

check the quick disconnect to the wand these are spring operated and can get stuck

It sounds like the bypass valve is stuck. Do you have a parts diagram?
