You do this by entering a security code in the setup of the router. just enter the router's IP address in your web browser, log in to it,go to the security tab under wireless setup and enter a security code. (write it down because you will need it to connect wireless). You can not connect to it without this code. This way your wireless connection is secured and can not be used by outsiders.

IN order for you to enable wireless security on your network you need to access the router setup page where you can setup all the settings for it including the wireless security

So to do that access the router setup page and once there look for a wireless portion on the setup page and from there you will be able to see the place to enable WEP or WPA I suggest you use WPA which is a much stronger level of security that you can use.
