Hi,

Not true.

Internet speed is determined by your ISP (internet service provider).

At certain times of the day your speed can be capped in line with the fair usuage policy that most ISP's have taken on board.

Another reason that the internet might be slow can be multiple users on your internet connection or the server having a large amount of hits (users).

Device drivers will not make any difference to yout internet speed.

Regards.

Acer Nplify 80211 Driver

Your router is broadcasting at 150mbps. That doesn't mean that your speed will be 150mbps. 150mbps is the maximum speed your router will broadcast, 13mbps is your internet connection speed.

Network Driver

Hello,

A network driver will just keep your computer to communicate with the internet and it has nothing to do with the speed and strength of your internet. For that, you need to contact your internet service provider.

If you want to optimize your computer's performance to its best though, you can download and install RadarSync. It is driver updater which can make your computer up to date. However, just like what I just indicated earlier that it won't affect the speed of your internet. RadarSync can do a lot of things that are automated and can keep your computer to automatically fix driver problems.

I hope this helps.

Web loading and image problem

hi
try this :
- firs you should have the correct video card drive or cd
-go to Hardware>device Manager>display adapter
- right click the vga card>then uninstall
- this will delete vga drivers (which is for some reason not functioning well)
- reboot windows
-after reboot windows my detect the vga card and starts a wizard
to define the vga chip. make sure at this point that the path for the driver is your cd or driver folder (not driver cach) because it will restore same corrupted files.

hopefully this shoud work it out

Slow internet access wirelessly

You can open up devise mgr,(rt click on my computer, click properties, click devise mgr) now look down, you should see network
adapters, you should see on that says wireless, if you rt click on it
and pick update driver, then choose search internet, try this two times, if it finds a newer driver, you will need to restart your system
and hopefully it will run better, or you can see who makes the wireless hardware and go to there site and see if there is a newer driver then the one installed, before you do this, click on driver tab and look at the date of driver, just so you are not getting the same one.

Now if you have the newest driver and still have a slow speed, write down the make and model of the hardware, now go to speedtest.net and run a speed test. Now post back what the hardware is,, the speedtest results, and what OS you are using,xp,vista, and I or someone can explain how to tweak your speed. Hope your driver updates and it works out for you.
