Hand shake means shutter speed is too low to avoid blurred picture(due to low light)
Either increase lighting or
Use flash and turn it on or use higher ISO setting or
Use lowest aperture number.
Last when there is nothing moving in the frame you can use tripod at any P.A.S settings in any lighting

Using Tripod on first hand will not solve your problem if you are shooting human or any moving things.

Blurry pictures

When operating any digital camera, the camera tries to capture the best focus and exposure for that particular scene. By pressing the shutter button half-way down, the focus and exposure is being set. There will be a green circle on the upper left hand corner of the screen, then your camera is ready to take the picture. Slowly depress the shutter the rest of the way down to take the picture.

Also try to reset the camera back to factory defaults as there could be a setting that is causing the images to be blurry. To reset the camera - have the camera in shooting mode - go to Menu - left arrow to reset and press ok. Highlight yes and press ok. This will reset the camera back to factory settings. See if this clears up the blurry images.

If it is still blurry you may want to send to Olympus for evaluation and repair service.

"Shake" warning symbol won't leave screen.

That shake warning will appear whenever the camera is in a low-light situation where the shutter speed is low and the images may blur. If it's coming on even in bright light, maybe you set the shutter speed to a fixed low setting? Either way, you may be able to shut off the warning in the settings of the camera.
