I have no cd to install my lexmark x7170 printer. I have found drivers online but online for Mac 10.5 and beyond. I have a 10.4.11. Where can I find the driver for this computer online?

Try to contact Lexmark technical support for assistance with the install disc. You can also download the Lexmark X7170 driver from the Lexmark website. Click on this link: Lexmark X7170 Drivers.

The scan driver/software can only be installed using the installation cd that came with the printer. Hope you still have that. If you do, just run the cd in your computer to install the scan software. If you don't have the cd, you can ask Lexmark for that by calling 1-800- LEXMARK (1-800-539-6275). They may be able to send the cd without charge.

Hello. The fax and scan software can only be installed using the the installation cd that came with the printer. The file sizes are big , especially for the scan software, that's why they're not available for download online. If you lost/misplaced the installation cd, I would advise you to call Lexmark. Most of Lexmark's scan and fax drivers can only be installed using the installation cd. If you don't have the cd, you can call Lexmark for assistance with that. Try to check the operating system of your computer if it's running on Windows (XP, Vista 32-bit or 64-bit, etc.) or Mac (10.4, 10.5, 10.6, etc.).
