My AOC 19" color display turns red, whats the reason of this?

Line faults & possible causes to LCD is given with illustrations. You can get an idea about the fault to an extent. Faults to all LCD & Plasma screen are similar, irrespective of its brand and screen size.

All the pins on the video cable are OK on both ends and they are on tight? Try it with another PC to make sure it is not video card problem also.

There should be a menu button on the monitor it self, which will give a list of options, one of which should be brightness.

Also, windows 7 has a built in brightness setting -- search for calibrate display color

Monitors don't need drivers to function. Either you need to configure it or it's dead.

i have the same problem yet i can't find a solution , the only thing i can do is to reset the color in the monitor options , but that solves the problem only temporarly because the next time i start the pc it goes red again

Hi there - I read in another forum to use the left button instead of menu. Give it a try - power off and hold left button while powering on.

If this is a crt there is problem in your connector... (it is the one with a blue color connector ) there is problem with the point at which it makes contact with the CRT try to move the connetor and see if you get you red color back. it that is the case you might need to open up the case and see if you can fic it yourself or get a trained proffesional to do it....

AOC brand are disposable, now if your going repair its chips, its definitely work or not... i tell you this monitor is very deliquate to work normally.... buy a new one...
