I have windows xp home edition. It recognizes the keybord but I cannot hear anything

Make sure that your keyboard and mouse are properly plugged into your computer.

No sir you can just convert your windows into xp home original.you will have to format the pirated windows which you have then re-install your new xp home into it
use your xp home cd to format your hard disk by booting your system with the xp cd and then install your windows

Until you put an Operating System, Windows, Linux etc, on the formatted drive, it will NOT recognize the drive, it will not recognize anything...

Does your ipod icon appear in My computer?If yes then right click on it and click on "Format".

Hell, Sorry to hear your having problems your analysis sounds correct but lets make sure it's not something else first. Can you give me more details on the drive Brand, IDE/SCSI, model number. Do you have access to a computer with a CD burner?

Add the printer in a TCP/IP port and assign it that IP address. /Add Printer/local connection then set it to TCP/IP port and the printers ip address.
