Switch your keyboard to Canadian French (if you don't have it, add it). Then for each green character press Alt Car + [char]. Ta dah!

How do I get the green keys on my acer aspire 5920?

OK, have you "pressed AND hold down" one ALT key while pressing the other green-key you need?

Is the CAP LOCK on?

Hope this helps.

How does one use the green keys on Acers Aspire 7535-5415?

Just beneath the F10 and F11 key is a chequers style drawing. If you were to press the function key, one of them will light up. If you press the F key corresponding to the drawing and the FN key together, the green keys will do other jobs.
To cancel it repeat the same key strokes.
Hope that helps.

Monitor have one line green

its either the onbaord graphics card or the lcd screen.

using a VGA cable, plug the laptop into a external monitor

you will have to hold the FN key + F6? (key should have a lcd pic on it)

if it does not work then ur onboard gaphics card is faulty.

if you get signal via monitor then its the lcd that needs replacing

Green function key locked on acer laptop

Hey, I've just been having this problem. Try pressing CTRL + SHIFT + FN all at the same time. I found out that I had to press them once to turn on the green keys, and then press them twice more to turn it off. I hope that works for you.

Green keys

There should be an extra key on you laptop. It should say Fct or something like that. It will be on the bottom next to your Windows logo key.
