isent this the same printer that you asked about with a problem with the carrage not working correctly after disassembly to rerplace a roller?? If it is then you ptobably have a sensor misalighned or unit still is not "timed" correctly.

I filled the Epson genuine black ink but the orange light in the ink indicator blinking and the status of black ink shows only 1%. please help. Printer is Epson L210

Did you refill the cartridge? If so, then you will need to reset a chip on the cartridge somehow. Usually epson doesn't sell "refill" ink unless it is an EcoTank series printer.

Epson P50 does not respond. Blinking lights and stuck cartridges.

This is a standard "Service required" issue where the waste pads (or nappies) in the printer are considered full by the printer and it wants them changing.

An Epson service centre can replace the pads and reset the waste counter for a considerable amount of money although most it seems either tell you it's dead and recommend you buy a new one, or they reset the counter, ignore the pads and leave you to flood your printer.

The more cost effective option is to locate one of a number of reset utilities such as the AdjProg utility for the T50 (it's compatible with the P50) and an external waste ink kit (like the Printer Potty).

The latter is easy enough to fit on a P50 thanks to the access hatch located in the rear left quadrant of the printer.

Epson 1400 Printing Orange colors Green

The problem can be two fold. Wrong cartridges, or blocked/damaged inkjet openings. Return it to the seller under warranty if its brand new. If it was fitted with non epson cartridges your warranty may be in question.

But I could almost guarantee the black qand the blue cartridges are faulty or their feed jets are

Ink module will not center itself

  1. Confirm that the printer is powered on and press the <Open> button (MP500) or manually pull open the paper output tray

  2. Lift the scanning unit (printer cover) completely. (The print head will move to the replacement position.)

NOTE: When the scanning unit (printer cover) is opened more than ten minutes, the print head moves to the right side. If this occurs, close the scanning unit (printer cover), and open it again.

  3. Open the inner cover.
  4. Unpack the ink tank and pull the orange tape off completely in the direction of the arrow and remove the film.

Note: Tear the orange tape carefully along the dotted line. If the orange tape remains, printing problems may occur.

    <5> Tape remains.

  5. Remove the orange protective cap located on the bottom of the ink tank by twisting as shown in the diagram.

CAUTION: Do not touch the ink tank contact <6>. Doing so may cause printing problems. Do not squeeze the side of ink tanks as this may cause the ink to leak out. Do not reattach the protective cap once you have removed it.

  6. Insert ink tanks into the print head.

NOTE: Press the mark <PUSH> on the ink tank firmly until you hear a click.

  7. Ensure that all the ink tanks are installed properly and the ink tank lamps light red.

    Note : MP500 shown.

<7> The ink tanks are installed properly.

<8> The ink tanks are not installed properly.

NOTE: Click for Ink Tank Lamp indications.

  8. Close the inner cover and the scanning unit (printer cover).

CAUTION: When closing the scanning unit (printer cover), be careful not to jam fingers.

Memo: The next printing begins, the print head cleaning will begin automatically.

Ink Tank Lamp indications
You can check the status of each ink tank according to the way its lamp flashes.
- On: The printer is ready to print.
- Slow flashing (at about three second interval): Ink is low. Prepare a new ink tank.
- Fast flashing (at about one second interval): Ink tank is empty, or the printer is not ready due to an error.
- Off: An error has occurred and the printer is not ready to print.
