Press the Setup Button on Front panel
Scroll to Tools
Choose Clean Printhead/Cartridge
Let it go thru the process

Try to Copy again..

you can go thru the Cartrige/Printhead Cleaning from HP Solution Center
Open HP Solution Center
Click on Settings
Click on Printer Toolbox
Click on Clean printheads
Do Intermediate and Prime cleaning depending on the Quality of Printout

If the Issue Persist :

Turn off the Printer
Remove the front access door
Remove the Printheads
Clean the Contact Points ( golden contacts )

If the Issue still persist, Disconnect the power Cord from back of printer, Press and hold the OK and CANCEL button and connect the cord back.

Canon Imageclass MF6500 Series Copier with Blank Copies Prints Problem

This tip works on all Canon Imageclass 6500 series machines including the MF6500 MF6530 MF6531 MF6540 MF6550 MF6560 MF6580 MF6590 and MF6595.
First of all if you are experiencing blank copies and or prints the best thing to do is try a different toner cartridge. In rare cases the black copies/prints CAN be caused by a defective cartridge. In MOST cases it is caused by a broken or detatched laser shutter lever or arm. When a toner cartridge is inserted and the door closed, a small plastic arm opens the laser shutter. If this arm is broken or has become disconnected then the shutter is not opened. This blocks the laser from writing the copy or print image onto the drum and this results in no print being applied to the paper. If the arm is broken you CAN open the laser shutter manually and block it open. What you need to do it open the cartridge access door, remove the cartridge and look for a 1/2 inch wide slot running from left to right in the metal frame that is in the back upper section where the cartridge goes. The plastic arm that operates the black plastic shutter is on the right side. If broken you can manually lift up the shutter and "block" it open using something like a folded up scrap of paper. I know it sounds strange but I have used this repair on several of my customers machines and they have all worked fine since. If you can not find or effect the repair yourself at least you will know where to point the service person when they come out to look at it.

Why am I getting only half page of a copied email. Plus I always get a blank sheet of page at the same time.

Are you talking about a page printed from a printer or something on your screen? I need some more information before I can help you. It does sound like you are describing a printer problem and if it is, does this happen when you try to print anything else?

Mfc-j270w prints blank pages and cartridges are good, tried cleaning procedure several times

Did you try and copy something? or use another machine? Blank pages are usually the computer sending a job that contained no print information but not always-- tell me more.

The printer runs properly but will not print; A blank page cycles

It is not the toner. There are 2 things you can try yourself, anything else requires service. First try opeing and closing the right hand side door. Try this several times if necessary. There are contacts in this door that sometimes don't make contact and opening/closing the door will sometimes resolve blank copies. The other thing you can try is remove the toner then pull out and reseat the drum unit. Here again there are contacts that need to be made that can cause blank copies.

I have copy and pasted this solution from another question I answered from a person with the same issue. Several people have reposnded that this solution helped them very much.

Clean the optical section(glass,mirrors,lems)Verify the paper dust on the edge of the cleaning blade,if the OPC drun scratched or the fusing hot roller scratched.Press the cleaning blade release lever down several times.Make a copy and stop the machine when the paper reaches the transport section.If the lines appear replace the OPC drum.After replacing the drum perform the Drun initial setting,Light Intensuty Adjusment,ADS voltage adjustment,Vsg adjustment.

My ''contact me'' box is blank....

Make sure of the little things, such as placement of codes in boxes, etc. and that you are hitting save changes after each section.

It sounds like your profile code is way off. A fresh start will fix this. I would copy and paste your printed information (no codes) to a file and go back in and start from scratch. Try to reserve ONE section, (either about me or interests )and use it exclusively for the profile layout code. Then save your changes and go back in and view it at each step before you move on to the next one.
