It depends on what you mean by printing a PDF. You can not "Direct Print" PDF documents on the 6306, you will need to pass the document through an appropriate printer driver / filter depending on the operating system used. Simply sending a PDF document to the printer will not work If you are using Windows simply print the PDF from Adobe Acrobat using the appropriate Windows Printer driver. If you can print a Windows Test Page, you should be able to print a PDF document- The quality of the print may not be of laser printer standard- Remember this is a Line Dot Matrix printer
Error 6000 gets displayed when there is a paper jam or other general malfunction. When the message "6000 Printer error has occurred. Turn off the printer
then back on again. If the problem persists, see the manual." Is
displayed, something may block the paper feed tray from opening.
If the printer is surrounded with documents or when you copy
large documents such as books, make sure that you secure the clear space
in front of the tray before printing / copying. When the error message
above is displayed and if you find something is in front of the tray,
remove it. Then, turn OFF the printer and back ON again and the printer
will be ready for printing.
If you still have the trouble, contact the repair service. Check the printer for any paper jam or try to reset the printer to release memory code errors.

Double printing or double feed??. Double printing means document printed in 2 copies. Double feed means printer feed double paper in one moment. For double printing, please check number of copy of document in printing preference properties. Double feed occurs when pickup roller fails to pick the paper correctly. It's usually caused by shaft of paper pick up roller which is broken. You should replace drive assembly (include pick up roller) in this case
Hi, make sure if the pdf you can't print is restricted by owner password which prevents you from copying, editing and printing pdf files. User a pdf password remover to remove pdf password. AnyBizSoft has a product like this.
Sound like the computer printer preferences "paper source" is set to bypass if set to "auto select" select the tray you want. Also make sure type of paper matches what is in printer.

Check if the orientation of the printing document matches to the paper available in the copier's trays.
Load SEF letter: means Load Short Edge Feed letter (landscape).
A customer called me with the same msg. The customer was printing the document using adobe PRO I had him print the document in reader 8.1 and made sure the print as image under advanced was selected and the document printed..
Offending Command: get. Graphics format in pdf document is not handled: If you are the creator/owner of pdf document then edit pdf document and check Imported graphics. If not try updating acrobat reader to last version. If none of the above works, then only solution is to print document from different computer/printer.
Is there a piece of paper in the top (copier/fax) feed, or under the top against the glass? Original Loaded means there's some document in place, ready to be copied or faxed. If you remove that, the message should go away.
If there isn't one, check inside the feed on top, and see if there's anything stuck in there that could be blocking the sensor.
