Why are gun scope/sight reticles normally red in color?

The illuminated reticles of optics are generally red and green to allow for better contrast against various dark backgrounds while also not sending a piercing light into the eyes of the shooter. Red and green are also typically not as noticeable from the barrel side of the gun as a color such as white would be.

You are replacing single pole light switch?
Single pole switch has 3 wires: black and red and bare copper

New device has 4 different colored screws: green, dark, brass, silver
Bare copper goes to green screw.
Black wire goes to dark screw
Red wire to brass screw
Nothing on silver screw for a moment. Test circuit and make sure light turns on-off.
If lights works, then good so far.

Now let look at silver screw. Neutral wire has to connect to silver screw.
In back of your electrical box are white wires twisted together and covered with wire nut.
These are neutral wires.
You must connect another short piece of insulated wire to these neutral wires and run that wire to silver screw.
The neutral wire will complete circuit to receptacle.
If you do not have neutral wire, then receptacle will not work in that box without additional wiring.

Hook up neutral wire to silver screw.
Now turn on power and click switch again.
If circuit breaker trips, then reverse your red and black wires.
Otherwise this should be correct wiring.

Red-Eye Reduction Lamp Is not Work and I cant adjust my lenses easely my camera is nikon F80 and I Have Nikon Lenses 28-100 & 70-300

I own an F70 with similar lenses. I am not fully familiar with the F80, and therefore can't be sure what I am saying will halp, but I believe it is the next model of similar specs as mine. However, from your description, I think what you are saying is that the little red light that flashes, before the photo is taken and when you have the flash mechanism up, is no longer working, and that your camera is haveing difficulty getting a fix on the focus in automatic focus mode?
This red light is not the 'red eye reduction' flash, but rather a red light (so it doesn't make your subjects blink / squint too early) that helps the camera focus: Auto focus mechanisms need light too. If your light has stopped working, then that would explain why the camera can't focus. This should however only occur in low light conditions.
Fixes:
-Obviously, if it's still under warranty - take it back.
-Get it repaired
- OR if that's going to cost too much or you were thinking of doing so anyway, a dedicated flash unit MAY solve the problem. Most flash units have there own red light to aid autofocus. At any rate, you could take it in to a store and test a flash unit in-store to see whether it helps with the problem. If a dedicated flash unit didn't help (make sure you try it in a dark room - ask them to take it into a back room and try it) then it might suggest another problem such as: the camera is failing to send the signal to the red light to flash rather than the light not working. After all, the red light would be an LED, which have extremely long lifespans.

Garage door will not go down. It go about four inches them automatically return up. The red sensor light is not on, but the green one is.

When the door goes down and reverses itself it is a problem with the eye sensors. First you need to make sure the wires are connected properly to both eyes. Second make sure both eyes are seeing each other. It is common for spiders to build webs across the eye's lenses. Take a measuring tape, measure the distance from the jam to the lens then from the lens to the floor. Make sure both are at the same height. If this does not resolve your problem and there is nothing blocking the eyes from seeing each other, one of the eyes is bad and should be replaced as a pair.

Sincerely,
