I just purchasd A uniden dect 1580 series cordless phone with one base and 5 handsets. In the users manual it says to refer to the detailed owners manual for several functions. The phone did not come with A detailed owners manual. How do I get one? can I down load one?

Uniden doesn't call it the "detailed" owners manual, but it is bigger than the one in the box. Speaking of snafu's, there is no mention of how to deal with the VM icon. I found some info on resetting the VM indicator in a different Uniden manual. The instructions on page 42 may be of some help: www.uniden.com/pdf/DECT1588om.pdf
