What is the common operation in windows

I'm not entirely sure if this is what you're after, but your question suggests you are looking for a listing of common error codes for Windows. I found one for you at the URL below, and if this is NOT what you want, save it aside later just for reference (suggest others so so, too). Then update your message with more details. Except handler4 common msvcrt.dll WHEN I OPEN ac3

This happen because program that you install not support with version of Windows (Windows XP). Try upgrade to Windows Vista (Recommend Windows 7) and reinstall the program. Sometimes it happen because you don't have latest Visual c++ 2010. Download it and It will be fix.

Just purchased laptop with windows vista home premium

If your PC has a wireless card, you can setup an AD-HOC network :

If your PC is XP: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/setup/adhoc.mspx

If your PC is Vista: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/help/293c504f-b944-4d5d-835c-f080129bd5dc1033.mspx

If your PC only has a wired Ethernet connection, you may still connect the two using a Wireless Access Point/Router.

Once you have the two computers connected, you may do whatever networked operations you would like:

File & Printer Sharing is the most common:

XP: http://www.wellesley.edu/Computing/FileSharing/Windows/win2kxp.html
Vista: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/File-Print-Sharing-Windows-Vista.html
