LG 21in screen M227WDP we've had just for a few months. Randomly with seemingly no explicit cause it now only shows a white blank screen except for a appearing/disappearing version number "V3.03.0" in a small grey box.
Can't get to any menus or anything - it does recognise a aux input like DVD player but still actually doesn't display the image.
Wondered if this is a firmware version or something? being displayed.
Well as you have only had it a few months, SEND IT BACK ( LG does not mean Lifes Good, in the trade we say LG=Lotta Garbage) There have been quite a few chip failures in this model, It should be recalled. Do a warranty call and get it replaced.
