Just to charge it you don't need a driver , just an USB to charger plug cable.

What does the cord look like that i use to take pictures off my phone and add them to my computer

A USB cable, usually like the charging cable that came with the phone, but you connect the USB end to a computer instead of a 'wall wart' (AC Charger). You may also need a driver for your phone that may need to be installed on your computer.

I have a motorola L6i. Left the charger at home and need to charge to phone. I tried plugging it in with a usb cable I have to the computer however still will not charge. I understand I have to download...

You shouldn't need the driver to charge the phone, just make sure the USB port is powered. But, you can download the driver here: http://www.nodevice.com/driver/L6i/get39381.html

Why isnt my usp charging my lg secret

Some phones cannot charge from a USB connection if their charge is low or the proper drivers are not installed on the computer.

Drivers for your phone be found on this website: http://www.lg.com/us/mobile-phones/mobile-support/mobile-lg-mobile-phone-support.jsp

If installing the drivers does not help, then try charging your phone from a wall charger. Regular sockets provide more power than USB ports, so you may need to use the wall for a while to get the battery up a bit.

Can cell phones charge through the computer ?

Yes cell phones can charge through the computer. This is via a usb data cable. My phone (L7) charges through the computer after being connected to it via a usb cable. You need to connect it as a memory device or a modem. In case of modem u need to install the proper drivers. For each phone this feature may vary.So please check whether the battery meter is moving when it's plugged to the computer.
