I recently rented Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for my Xbox 360. When I try and load the mission "Hunted" in Act 1, one of the following happens:
1. The Infinity Ward logo shows, and it loads very slow, and then nothing happens when it finishes. Just a logo.. 2. It shows the cut scene, but when it gets 3/4 of the way there, it just says "Could not read disc" and takes me to the dashboard. I can still play the game though from there, just not that mission. 3. A white screen shows, and it shows "Saving...", and Captain Price's dialogue. Then it freezes.

This is due to loose battery packs on the controllers and the pad vibrating shaking them loose. Try some duct tape to hold them in place, or purchase some rechargable battery packs.
How to deal with cheaters on call of duty modern warfare 2 is to fill out a aovid player and smit a review on the player. But xbox live will look in to it but the seem take a lil bit.
reset ur modem, router, xbox, and get the disc cleaned (resurfaced). mine did the same thing, i was told to do this. disc first, then b4 u play, reset everything. this worked for me. it might help u out.

I do believe its a problem with the disk. The disk may not be scratched or anything but it could possibly something internally wrong with it. I'd take the disk back and exchange it. Hope this helped! Have a great day!
