I have a movie that I recorded yesterday saved on my HDD. I recently changed camera cases :( and I misplaced my cords that connect the camera and the PC... I can't even find my audio cords. So, I need to save the HDD movie onto my SD Card that is now inserted in the camera. Can you please advise me on how to back/up the movie onto the SD Card? I would SSSOOO appreciate it!

Hi,
As you don't have cords (Usb Cable) that connect to camera and PC.It is better to transfer your data (Movie) to your PC for safe backup, For that you can use SD Card reader to store movie onto your PC, you just need to insert your SD Card into your SD Card Reader and then connect to your PC directly.
Visit this link to buy SD Card Reader.

Good Luck and have a nice day.

Sony dsc-H1 won't switch off of movie mode

When you switch the camera from mode to mode, does it make the click noise to signify that the camera recognized that it changed modes? If not it could be that the switch itself has become unlogged from the switch. I know I had a older camera had this happen before. Try pushing down hard on the toggle wheel and seeing if it will snap back into place. Otherwise the switch inside the camera itself is probably broken, and if this is the case cheapest thing you can do is have Sony do warranty work on the camera. http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SYCustomerCare?storeId=10151&catalogId=10551&langId=-1 Click repair and service under Technical Support. This will get the process started on the warranty work.

Camera shows hd movie recording disableD

HD movie recording disabled: SOLVED for 2 HDRSR5's (work and home): After copying all movies to computer, "DELETE ALL" from HD view. Evidentally if you have been deleting movies using computer, the still images used for 'scene selections' remain and fill its capacity. You must be in HD view when choosing Delete All (that is, rather than just deleting all Standard movie clips)

I recently purchased a JVC HD everio GZ-HD300, how

This camera is like an external drive when connected to PC. The videos you recorded is just like a normal digital file. Install the software provided so that you can transfer it into other format you need like mpeg1,mpeg2 etc. or you can just rename the file after copying to pc. Ex. MOV000A.TOD, change it to MOV000A.mpg, make sure to have back up, this process is e reversible. Drag the file anywhere you need it. Hope it helps

How do you use the camera recorder on Canon powershot s31s camera? I would like to know how to record, save and then download short "movies" on the camera.

Just to the right of the viewfinder is a silver button with a red dot in the centre. This will start / stop recording. Set the camera dial to Auto, press the red dot button, and your recording will start. When ready, connect the camera to your computer with a USB cable and the movies will download at the end of the still pictures.
You might find recording suddenly stops after a while - this is because of a size limit for movie files. You can get over this by changing the resolution that the camera records at. It's quite complicated so I suggest checking the user manual or downloading it from the Canon webiste to choose what quality if resolution to use.

Free Software Download from Net

I was never given the software for my JVC GZ-MG20AA HDD camcorder. When I tried to get it off Harvey Norman they said to contact JVC, of which has the worst support services, thats if you can get through.

Please help as I have very valuable footage to save on my HDD.

How do i get sound to work in recorded movies

Some cameras you CANNOT play back on the camera, but it only works on the computer. Nothing is wrong, because that camera is basic. So yeah.
