The tube around my intex pool has a leak, how do I find it and fix it?

Probably just an O-ring. I don't know if you can get a rebuild kit for this valve, or you might be able to just find O- rings that fit.

I assume it is leaking around where the connector is screwed on, and not actually coming out of the screws/nuts area. Unscrew the grey connector (that the nuts and screws are on). Wrap some plumbers tape (you can get it at any hardware store) around the threads several times (covering the entire width of the threads) then screw the grey connector back on tightly and that should solve the problem.

To be honest, ive seen 20-30 customers come to my company looking to fix this same problem. Weve tried vinyl patch after vinyl patch, and several different cement fixes. Nothing works.
The best results ive had are with a simple vinyl liner repair kit.
The most important thing is to let it sit for 48 hours before reinflating, but even this fix was only temporary.

Long story short, you get what you pay for, and intex is the cheapest pool systems on the market for a reason. The air ring always starts to leak right after the warranties are up, and the Intex company just plain out doesnt care.

I suppose the pool is already full of water. You could remove some of the water, then use soapy water and a paint brush to find the leak. Bubble blowing liquid is ideal for this. This will be easier on the the outside than on the inside. Once found, you may be able to fix with duct tape. But they sell repair kits that probably work better. Don't use a tire or bike tube patch - those are for rubber. I hope this helps you, and I hope the kids have fun in the pool this summer! Al K

make sure its not installed backwards, the flow tube that is. if that doesnt fix the problem make sure that there is no air in the tubes.

Soapy water never worked for me... Pour kids bubbles into a bowl and use a paint brush to spread the bubbles on the top ring. If there is a hole you'll see it begin to blow a bubble where the hole is.  patch with vinyl repair kit.

You will need to go to the manufacturing web site and get a new seal for the pump.They cost some where around $1.00 to $2.00.
