I have Platinum 18 on windows Vista. For some reason the page turner button on the bottom of the screen says For Help press f1 (not go to page or add pages). So I cannot turn pages unless I do it by going up to view and do it manually. It such a pain. Removing the program and reloading it does not cure the problem. This has happened many times. The page button comes and goes. But i havent had that button in a long time. It makes using Printmaster 18 platimun a long tedious process.

This worked for me ... I got this from going through the Help/Online Help from within the program.

Complete the following steps:
With a multi-page project open on the program workspace, click File in the menu bar and choose Print Preview.
In the Print Preview window that appears, click the Zoom In button and click Close to return to the project. The Page Turner button will now display.

I have Print Master Platinum 10 and my Windows operating system is Windows 7 are they compatiable? I tried installing the program but it doesn't install. Is this program too old for this operating...

I don't think Printer Master Platinum 10 will run on Windows 7. However, solution #3 on this page (http://www.fixya.com/support/t2129564-printmaster_platinum_10_version_will_not) references how to make it run on Windows Vista. The same is true for Windows 7. You can run almost any software in compatibility mode. Since they're up to version 18, I doubt it will work with Windows 7.
Hope this helps.

Windows 7 Professional + compatibility with Broderbund Print Master Platinum Version 18

If a program cannot be run under Windows 7 because of compatibility issues, which is the case with Broderbund Print Master Platinum Version 18, you have to right click on the executable file that will start the application and click Properties. Select Compatibility tab and check the Windows version you know the program worked with before. You can find more about this Compatibility issue on Microsoft website: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

Reinstall my vista

If you want to completely start from scratch and erase all of you files to reinstall windows, here is what you have to do. You need to "boot" from the Vista CD. To do this, you will need to insert the Vista CD and then restart the PC. After it shuts down and starts to start again, will need to press the button that says "boot options" or you will need to press something along the lines of F1 (it depends on your computer type) Pressing F1 will take you to bios. From there you will need to find "boot options" or "boot priority." Set the CD drive to be on top so it boots from the CD first, before the hard drive. Then save and exit bios. This should restart your computer. After that, continue with your normal boot up until is says "press any button to boot from CD." Press any button you want to. You should be able to follow the on screen directions for installing Vista there. Hope this helps!

I have the Printmaster Platinum Version17 , I cannot save to pdf files?

As a work around untill we can figure this issue out. http://www.acrosoftware.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp
This is a FREE PDF Print to file program.

At the top left of the page the are links to the PDF Creator and the Required GPL Ghostscript 8. The program will not function without it. Both programs work with x64 Vista. Read the website for the other benifits or the program.

Hi i want to widen my screen

The Resolution can be changed in Windows XP by minimizing all applications, right clicking on the desktop, selecting Properties. In the Display Settings window go to the Settings tab. Here you can change the resolution. I think you are wanting to use a widescreen setup so going for a resolution of 1280x800 should fill your screen. Play around with the available settings to resize the screen.

If you are using MS Vista, you need to minimize all applications to the desktop, right click, select Personalize. In the Personalize Window click on Display Settings down the bottom, modify the resolution as appropriate.

Alternatively, you may be able to find the function key that did this to your resolution. Above your F1-F12 keys there should be a little picture. If you click on the [fn] key (near the Windows key) as well as one of the F1-F12 keys you can cause different functions to be performed. This may be how the resolution changed initially.

Good luck
