When i put a casset in the recorder it loads then it says please reinsert the casset. What can i do to fix this so I can record using the camera?

Actually, they do still sell the tapes. I have seen Hi8 video tapes at Walgreens, and on ebay and I have a Sony VL-E600U.

Me also getting the same problem.. but some times it is getting okk...  what i m doing is, put the casset while pushing the cassete hold little bit down.. i think it is due to the improper position of the cassete holder...
 

uploading problem, when i load my cassete it;s not loading. if i close the cartrige with out cassete it closes but with cassete it won;t close, i already give my camera to jvc service centre the jvc service technician put new cartrige, but i think it;s not alligned properly. And also condensation not comes on the screen

JUST BUY A CLEANING CASSETTE AND PLAY TWO OR THREE TIMES AND PLAY YOUR RECORDED CASSTTE.IT WILL BE VERY CLEAR.

There is no software that comes with the camera. It is up to whatever application you are using to edit the video to import it.
