I just got a new digital box wiyh DVR. Our cable provider is Timr Warner. I have been trying to program the Remote so as to change channels, change the volume and turn off the TV. I need a list of codes to program the Remote. The TV is a Sylvania modle LC370SS8. Help please. [email protected]

Just try an other setup code to your TV brand to set it up.

Call your cable provider and tell them to give you a new box.

You have to program the remote to work with your specific model tv. If it still doesnt work after that call your cable provider and ask them for another remote.

another note, are you using the flash on the back of your cable box or do you have a sensor in front of the DVR box?

Actually, there is a setting in the cable box for this. You hit the settings button on the remote TWICE, then scroll down to Viewer:Power On. Click on what channel (or last channel) you want it to go to when you power on. Hope this helps. I have the 8300 HDC DVR.
