Witch one of the a/e f/b g/c h/d is the setting for am on a galaxy 44 cb radio

the switch with E/A, F/B, G/C, H/D is the band selector. the switch with PA, FM, AM is the mode selector. use this switch if you want to work on FM or AM.

here is a link if you want to download the manual:

How do i find the FM frequency for a Connex CX-4300-300 CB radio?

FM is just a form of modulation, not an actual frequency. The frequency doesn't change between any of the modes (LSB, USB, AM, FM, CW).

For example, if you are on channel 19 (27.185MHz) on AM (Amplitude Modulation,) switching to FM (Frequency Modulation) mode you would still be at 27.185MHz, but using a different form of modulation.

On the Connex CX-3300HP what is the Band knob for. The three positions are D/A E/B F/C.

The Band knob moves the frequency coverage from 25.615 and 28.305
The Hi-Low switch determines the lowest frequencies and highest.
Here is your owners manual.
