It is locked and I want to make it region free.

    I have a Twin Tuner HD recorder and blue ray player. It is at the moment set to region 4 and I would like to make it all region.
    it is an LG_HR598D. Can you please help.

    I have a DVD recorder and Player. it is a High definition recored and blue ray player.
    It is an LG-HR598D. The player is locked into Australia's regional code 4. I would like the numbers key to unlock it to all region so I can play my discs from the USA and GB.
    Can you PLEASE help.

Try to reset it. At least disconnect the battery. Connect again. Open the receiver and try to reset it.

    You cannot do it that way. It has a region code removal number, it is the numbers thatI want to make ir muli region.

Hyundai HY601G does not play all region DVDs
Then it's set to only play certain region's dvds. Get a region free dvd player or maybe you can check online for a way to unlock the region locks on it.

You can only change the region code up to 4 times then it locks on the last change.
There are some firmware upgrades that can change the drive to region free, if you can screw it up or put in the wrong frmware upgrade then the DVD drive will be a piece on junk.
I suggest you install a region free software that will allow you to play any region DVDs.
Go to www.dvdidle.com to get their Region-Free software, it is not very expensive.
