I want to know where the red,yellow,blue, green,,white,and black wires go?

Red and black are power and ground, blue and white are gps output signal connect those to 9 pin connector pins 2 and 5 and get a 9 pin(serial) cable to usb adapter for input to a laptop, charting or mapping program and you are good to go. just make sure if you are using xp to wait until the mapping program is running and searching for gps signal before you connect the serial or usb because windows thinks the signal is from a mouse and the cursor will turn into a raging crackhead jumping all over the screen and randomly clicking on whatever it touches.

black = ground
Grey/blue = Left rear (+)
yellow/black = ignition 12v
white/purple = right rear (-)
green/black = (could this be green / violet?) than it is 12v constant
blue/red = illumination
orange/green = left front (+)
white/green = right front (-)
blue/white = left front (-)
brown/yellow = left rear (tan / yellow) (-)
green/orange = right front (+)

Hello! Since I do not know if your vehicle is equipped with the Standard or Premium System I'll give both sets of wiring...You can identify which system you have by looking at the color of the ground wire...

Red=Standard and Black/Green =Premium


Standard...Constant +12=Green/Yellow...
Switched=Yellow/Black...Ground=Red...
Illumination=Blue/Red...

Standard Speaker
FR + White
FR - Green/Orange
FL + Orange/Green
FL - Light Blue/White
RR + Orange/Red
RR - Black/White
RL + Pink/Green
RL - Pink/Blue

Premium...Only power difference is Ground=Black/Green

Wiring confusion

yellow constant
red switch
black is ground
blue power antenna if any
dimmer i/illumination is optional

front- right-red/green-+
front-left-blue/green-+
rear-right-red/yellow-+
rear-left-blue/yellow-+

these are all the positive side wire for all your spkr

I am converting a 3 prong dryer to a 4 prong plug. The wires inside the dryer are black/yellow, white and blue. The wires on the plug are white, black, red and green. I am assuming the green is the ground...

on plug white is neutral, black is power , red is power, green is ground. black/yellow and blue are power and white is always neutral ie. (white to white) black to black/yellow, blue to red. green to grounding screw on machine

Wiring a new radio in 1991 ford explorer

1991 Ford Explorer XLT Radio and Speaker Wire Colors
Pulled out the stock radio and found two plugs on the back of it. One plug had 7 wires (Power, Dimmer, Amp etc.) and one had 8 (Speakers).
7 wire plug (I could see these wires immediately from the plug):
Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ wire = Light Green w/ Yellow Stripe
Car Radio Ground Wire = Black
Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ wire = Yellow w/ Black Stripe
Car Radio Dimmer Wire = Light Blue w/ Red Stripe
Car Radio Illumination Wire = Orange w/ Black Stripe
?? Don't know ?? Red Wire (No power to wire Constant or Accessory)
Car Radio Amp Wire = Blue
8 Wire Plug (Wires were wrapped in a grey outer sleeve, had to cut sleeve to get to wires.):
Right Front:
White w/ Green Stripe (+)
Brown (no stripe) (-)
Right Rear:
Purple w/ White Stripe (+)
Light Blue (no stripe) (-)
Left Front:
Light Green (no stripe) (+)
White w/ Orange Stripe (-)
Left Rear:
Light Blue w/ Black Stripe (+)

Speaker Wires (found at the individual speakers in the doors)
