Zenith Z20LCD1 My in-laws inherited this TV from a relative who died, and have no manual. We can't figure out how to autoprogram--it doesn't appear when you run through menu options. Without autoprogramming we don't seem to get all channels on cable. Also, it seems that using remote to go to a double digit channel, such as 45, you can't punch in 4 then 5, you have to use 100 button, then 4 then 5. Is that right?

There is no such key fix. Just try an other code to set-up with your remote control. If you wish to get more; check the site linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. See it in "Mosaic" view. It will make surf easier. http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/
Try this link to zenith it should take you directly to the Product support page. Click on Product Support in the menu bar then click on the owner's manuals link on the left side of the page. You'll want to select TV as the product group, then PDP TV as the product, ENGLISH for the language, and finally type in the model number.

it appears only the 15" model may be used as pc monitor
This TV's VGA port does not appear to be used for monitor purposes. It says "for service" in the manual, rather than being described as a PC port. My guess is that this input is used for some other type of display not available to the customer for regular use; only during maintenance when taken in for repairing, or something similar...whatever the "for service" means. But rest assured, only a VGA to component converter will give you that VGA PC screen.
Open main menu and select manual program. In this option check skip on/off option is there. Otherwise select autoprogram the channels are automatically stored, after completing autoprogram TV displays program edit option. In that you can choose your needs.
