Twitter is slightly different to Facebook and works on a system of timelines. Unlike Facebook were you can freely post on someone's profile, on Twitter to do this you must ask them to ReTweet your tweet. However, you can give direct messages to or send tweets towards them by using the @username replacing the word username with the person whom you wan't to talk to.
You need ot make sure that the router WAN lights are on and its connecting to your ISP. You need ot have all the link and state lights on. The router will automatically connect to your ISP, unless someone has set the configuration to manual. You can try resetting to factory defaults and see what happens on the WAN side. You NEVER need to configure the WAN interface. You then need to reconfigure the LAN side.
If you have tried a new router and there is still not link light for the wan then you may have to talk to your service provider.
Otherwise you could try and run through the steps you did when you first setup the connection. Reset the router to default first and start from scratch. There should be documentation with your device on how to do this.
The DHCP (dynamic host control protocol) disconnection means you are not recieving an IP address from the router which is what allows you to connect to the internet etc. This will be the problem.
Your service provider should be able to fix you up unfortunately I know how painful being on hold can be.
use ethernet cable and connect it under port (NOT the WAN port) then type in your browser 192.168.1.1 that the address to access your router and you can set it up or use your router disk to help you set it up.
i hope your not talking about the wireless router.....
unplug your computer from the modem, and link the modem's Ethernet port to your router's WAN port (this is important). Once you have that in place (and you may see a WAN status light come on), plug your computer into one of the other Ethernet ports using another Ethernet cable and see if you can get a connection........
kmkm:
Is this the WAN light you are talking about or the power light?
The WAN light blinks to show you connection with your client computers. Its ok.
If its the power light then un plug router completly and plug it back in check if does the same thing again? If yes then some hardware issue exist and the router needs to be replaced.
Hope that helped!
